Selling and Servicing Survey Machines

Precision on the Ground. Clarity for Your Vision.

Equipment Supply & Support

Alongside our survey practice, Geogambi Surveys supplies and maintains survey instruments — total stations, GNSS receivers, levels and the accessories that go with them.

We buy and use this equipment ourselves, which shapes the advice we give. We can say which instrument suits the work you actually do, what it genuinely needs to be field-ready, and where a higher specification would not repay the cost.

Equally important is what happens after the sale. An uncalibrated instrument does not announce itself — it keeps producing readings that look entirely normal and are quietly wrong. Regular verification, prompt repair and a documented calibration record are what keep your survey data defensible.

What We Supply and Service

  • Total Stations & Theodolites

Supply of instruments across the accuracy range, matched to whether your work is construction setting out, cadastral survey or precise monitoring.

  • GNSS Receivers & RTK Systems

Base-and-rover GNSS kits, network RTK rovers, controllers and the field software that drives them.

  • Automatic & Digital Levels

Levelling instruments, staves and accessories for construction levelling and precise level networks.

  • Survey Accessories & Consumables

Tripods, prisms and prism poles, staves, tribrachs, batteries, cables, beacons and marking materials.

  • Calibration & Field Verification

Checking and adjusting instruments against known baselines, with a record of the result — the evidence that your survey data is defensible.

  • Repairs, Servicing & Spare Parts

Diagnosis and repair of damaged or drifting instruments, routine servicing, and sourcing of replacement parts.

How We Work With You

An instrument is only an asset while it is reading true. We help you buy the right equipment, set it up correctly, and keep it verified across its working life.

  1. Needs Assessment & Specification

    Step 1 – Specification

We start from the work you actually do. The accuracy your surveys have to meet, the conditions you work in and the software you already use determine which instrument makes sense — buying above or below that specification both cost you money.

  2. Quotation & Supply

    Step 2 – Supply

You receive a written quotation covering the instrument, the accessories it genuinely requires, and the warranty and support terms, so the total cost of getting into the field is clear before you commit.

  3. Commissioning & Handover Training

    Step 3 – Commissioning

New equipment is checked and configured before handover, and we take your team through setup, field routines and data transfer. Most early instrument problems are workflow problems, and an hour at handover prevents them.

  4. Calibration & Periodic Checks

    Step 4 – Verification

Instruments drift with use, transport and knocks. We verify collimation, level and distance measurement against known references on a regular schedule and issue a record of the check for your quality file.

  5. Repair, Servicing & Ongoing Support

    Step 5 – Support

When something fails we diagnose it, quote the repair, and advise honestly when an instrument is no longer economical to keep. Downtime on a survey instrument stops a crew, so turnaround matters more than almost anything else.
